Aanchal turns Kareena Kapoor on small screen 2010

Aanchal Sabharwal of Bhaskar Bharti fame has been chosen as one of the main leads for Star Plus’s new show. The story of this fictional show is loosely based on Jab We Met and is being churned out by Bhagyavidhaata on Colors. Therefore, Aanchal and Himanshoo Malhotra will step into Kareena and Shahid Kapoor’s shoes respectively.
Himanshoo of Sony’s Seven fame was the not the first choice for the role. In fact, the makers had Kinshuk Mahajan in mind for the role earlier but somehow, Himanshoo was ultimately inked upon.
Lately many serials have drawn inspiration from the stories of films like Do Hanson Ka Jodaa from Rab Ne Banadi Jodi and now this untitled ventue which will recreate the magic of Jab We Met.
