Have You Seen This Trailer?

I was looking for info on those awesome Torment t-shirts Borders has and stumbled upon the book trailer for Lauren Kate's 'Torment', sequel to 'Fallen'.



I have a bit of a problem with the size of Daniels wings in the trailer, but it's not too shabby a trailer. Yes, it doesn't go into the plot of the book at all, but at least they used real actors.  I really like it when publishers go the extra mile and at least try to make it look like a movie trailer.

New Book Trailer-- Perchance to Dream by Lisa Mantchev

Did you read 'Eyes Like Stars' last year?  It's a quirky story about a magic theatre where characters from great plays literally take the stage every night.  It follows Bertie, an orphan girl, as she discovers who she is and how powerful her words are.

Well, here is the book trailer for 'Perchance to Dream', the sequel to 'Eyes Like Stars'.  I'm currently reading 'Prechance to Dream', so expect a review on it soon!

I've been told to read this book, and while the trailer wasn't very action packed, I think I'll bump this title up higher on my list a bit!

Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters

I don't plan on reading this, but this trailer is the best I've seen for a book. I love it when trailers actually have actors!!!

The Question of the Month is: Have you ever picked up a book because the 'book trailer' made it sound neat?  Have book trailers become something you look for before purchasing a book?  

I'm a big fan of The Vampire Diaries on the CW.  Last week between oogling Damon and Stephan, I was happily surprised to see a book trailer for "Fallen" by Lauren Kate during the commercial break.  While I've never had a book trailer sell me a book right off the bat, I do enjoy viewing them and think they'll be getting better and better as the book trailer industry grows.
