Okay, No one who checks this blog regularly should have been surprised by today's big dow drop.. For eff's sake we had Saturn Square Pluto on Sunday, on the last day of the summit in DAVOS where if you don't know all the money bigwigs either smiled to each other in hotels or avoided each other in elevators, some lied to each other and others whispered little truths to each other but all in all...they put their seats back in their private jets on their way home and said, "holy, moley, we're 'effed". Oh, yeah and the PIIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain) are about one minute from going belly up--especially Greece. All of that sat like fried swiss cheese in the guts of our BigWig Money guys, who arrived home talked to their fellow executives on Monday and Tuesday and then screamed, FIRE!

The Euro began to crash and Dollar went up. But----if the dollar is so strong why did the stock market go down? Oh, yeah, that's that thing we all have, if we're lucky, between 9am and 6pm---- jobs. But the deal is, the job report is coming out tomorrow and it is not looking good.
And in the middle of this mess, Gold which has been building steadily since summer had a huge correction and went down 49 dollars.

I do not have MBA on any certificate in my house but as long as Saturn and Pluto continue to dig into each other we are all finding our bottom line. Both planets are deadly serious, neither like frivolity and when it involves Libra and Capricorn our relationship with money is number one ---and any fissures and cracks will be found out. Greece appears to go belly up, Euro goes down. I have said many times that currencies are under assault (blame sovereign debt) and while the dollar today looks good we are still faced with the overall problem that all the countries have too much debt and at some point everyone is going to have to raise their hand and say, "uncle." And perhaps we will see one huge reboot as each country says, "I'll forgive your debt, if you forgive ours." If that happens, prepare to feel pain, especially if you see yourself as middle class.

Remember we have got the cardinal cross building all year so everything is on the table in terms of governments, money, infrastructure, and currencies. They are all in play. Especially since Pluto is key planet. Of course, a lot of this will be hidden from us but if you keep your antenna up high, you should not be surprised.

The Question of the Month is: Have you ever picked up a book because the 'book trailer' made it sound neat?  Have book trailers become something you look for before purchasing a book?  

I'm a big fan of The Vampire Diaries on the CW.  Last week between oogling Damon and Stephan, I was happily surprised to see a book trailer for "Fallen" by Lauren Kate during the commercial break.  While I've never had a book trailer sell me a book right off the bat, I do enjoy viewing them and think they'll be getting better and better as the book trailer industry grows.

ÄHH, vol4

Kuinka ollakaan, juutuin taas johonkin tiettyyn juttuun ja vähän samanlaista ÄHHiä pukkaa kuin eilenkin. Spinellirondellit jatkavat menossa mukana ja eilisen Balin hopeakolikot korviksissa jäi sen verran kutkuttamaan takaraivoon, että oli pakko testailla pallopääpunsseleita, jotka eilen sain monen mutkan kautta kotiin. Lähestyvällä ystävänpäivällä on myös osuutensa inspikseen.

Järkyttävät heijastukset hopeassa ja viimeinen kuva on vähän tärähtänytkin. Ensin jouduin uhrata aikaani pyöreän lätkän sahaamiseen, ei ole minun lajini ollenkaan. Kirjainten punsseloimisen jälkeen ei-niin-muodokas lätkä pääsi palloalasimen käsittelyyn, jonka jälkeen tartuin viilaan. Ja hei helpotusta! Viilatessa se muodokkuus kuperasta elementistä löytyikin kätevästi ja kokeilusta olikin tulossa käyttökelpoista kamaa - takapuolen jätin kuitenkin suosiolla litteäksi.

Malliltaan koru on näitä lariat tyyppisiä "häntäkoruja" eli pituutta ja mittaa voi muutella kiinnittämällä lukkoa ketjun eri kohtiin.

Kaksi vuotta ja 205 blogitekstiä takana päin. :) Lukijoita Bloggerin kautta 61, Blogilistan 60. Sivu ladattu yli 137 000 kertaa.
Toisin sanoen mitään kovin suosittua tästä blogista ei ole tullut, mutta se nyt on täysin ymmärrettävää kun on niin paljon blogeja joista valita. :)
Itse asiassa blogini synttärit olivat jo eilen, ja tein tätä postausta silloin kaksi tuntia, mutta luovutin kun loppua ei näkynyt ja alkoi nukuttamaan kun meni aika myöhäiseksi kun leivoin eilen porkkana-myslisämpylöitäkin. :D Jatkan siis nyt.

Kyselin viime postauksessa jotain ideoita tähän postaukseen, ja yhden niistä päätinkin nyt toteuttaa. Selailin vanhoja blogitekstejä, ja valitsen lukuisista päivän asuista joitain tähän postaukseen. Helppoa se ei ollut, ja varautukaa kunnon kuvaspämmiin!! En nimittäin mitenkään osannut valita vain muutamaa.. Kuvat yritin laittaa aikajärjestykseen.

Huh, ei ole ikinä mennyt näin kauan postauksen tekemiseen. Toivottavasti tästä kuvaspämmistä on edes jollekin iloa, koska tässä meni ikä ja terveys. En laittanut ollenkaan lähiaikojen asukuvia, ja paljon jäi "oleellisia" asuja laittamatta.

Tyylini on muuttunut blogin alkuajoista erityisesti siten, että siihen on tullut paljon enemmän rockhenkeä, ja tietty vaate- ja koruvarastot ovat kasvaneet. Meikkikin on vahvempi, hiukset muuttuivat aluksi kunnon tupeerauspesäkkeeksi, mutta nyt tupeeraan maltillisemmin. Lisäksi on tullut myös hiusten pinkit osiot. Rakkaus pinkkiin ei ole hävinnyt minnekään, ja se onkin ollut lempivärini n. 6-7 vuotta. :) En pystyisi kuvittelemaan pukeutumistyyliäni ilman pinkkiä ja sen sävyjä, ja se onkin pukeutumiseni ydin.

Niille jotka tykkäävät tyylistäni: mikä on mielestäsi parhain tämän postauksen asuista? Tai parhainta tyylissäni? Kuvaile, kun en tajunnut numeroida kuvia, enkä nyt pysty kirjoittamaan kuvien väliin. :|

Shahid and Kareena are together again!

For everyone who liked seeing Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor together, here’s some good news.

Their delayed film, Milenge Milenge, which is inspired by Hollywood’s popular film, Serendipity, is set for a March/April release. And that’s not all.

Producer Boney Kapoor and Satish Kaushik have planned to get the couple to shoot for a promotional music video together.

According to sources, Boney Kapoor convinced the duo to shoot for the music video and both of them are known for being thoroughly professional, so they agreed. Apparently Shahid and Kareena loved the song, composed by Himesh Reshammiya, and had no issues agreeing to work together.

The film was supposed to release in February but has been pushed to later because the music video needs to be shot. They also need to shoot for the prologue with a popular heroine who will narrate Kareena and Shahid’s love story.

Inkku polkaisi taas käyntiin ÄHH-projektin eli Älä Hilloa Helmiäsi. En tunnustaudu kovinkaan ahkeraksi hilloajaksi, mutta otetaan haaste vastaan siltä kantilta, että yritän saada helmikuussa 28 korua valmiiksi :)

Yksinkertainen ankkuriketju ranteeseen kera merilasin ja Balin hopean. Syötävän suloinen väri helmessä!
